Status
This project has been completed and was successfully implemented in AP English classes in the fall of 2021. Now, we are maintaining the web application as we take on new projects.
The repository is currently under a personal GitHub account. We will need to transfer the ownership to an organization and make it public from there.
Overview
We built a web-based application that can conduct a lottery to assign students to their chosen assignment topics for school work, inspired by the AP English Language and Composition’s final project POAS (Person of American Significance). The students can submit a list of their choices for the given assignment. A lottery will be conducted to assign students to their choices in case there are multiple students choosing the same person for the class assignment.
